Spend 4 weeks living in the heart of London, where you’ll learn the fundamentals of business, complete a case study with an international organization, and build skills that will help you in college and your career.

  • Design thinking

    Build a foundation for innovation by learning the principles of design thinking, and applying those principles to real-world business cases.

  • Business Fundamentals

    Learn the building blocks of international business and gain a practical understanding of finance, marketing, and sales.

  • Challenge-based learning

    Students will be introduced to a real business challenge from an international company and collaborate with peers to pitch their ideas.

  • College credit

    Students will earn 3 college credits from Hult International Business School - one of Europe's elite business schools.


Live and learn in this global business hub

Your program begins with a tour of London, where you'll meet your cohort and get oriented to the city. From there, you'll dive into your course work at Hult International Business School during the day, with plenty of time to explore in the evenings and on weekends - including a long weekend excursion to Paris, mid-way through your program. This four-week experience culminates with a case study presentation where you'll put what you've learned into practice with a panel of business leaders.

Orientation

London

Fly to London and spend your first weekend exploring the city with an EF Tour Director and your Student Life Coordinator. Get acquainted with using the Tube as you meet your cohort and settle into London.

Business Challenge Introduction

Hult International Business School

Start your course at Hult International Business School, where you’ll learn about a current business challenge from an international company. Learn the principles of design thinking and work on solutions with a small group of peers.

Market Definition and Ideation

Hult International Business School

Begin to identify your target market for your business challenge by creating personas and empathy maps. Brainstorm in your group ways that you can create value for this customer.

Guided Weekend in Paris

Paris

Leave London for the weekend, as you enjoy a guided weekend in Paris. Take a walking tour of the city, and enjoy a cooking class with your cohort in this international food capital. Explore the city on your own before boarding the train back to London.

Business Plan Development

Hult International Business School

Start testing your solution to the business case challenge, and learn how to create financial models and marketing plans to turn this idea into reality.

Case Study Presentations

Hult International Business School

Finish your business case challenge and learn how to present effectively before pitching your team’s solution in a final presentation to a panel of business leaders.

Daniel Rukare
Professor of Entrepreneurship and Global Innovation

Daniel has a wealth of academic and commercial experience spanning academic positions at a number of institutions in the UK as well as time spent working for FedEx and DHL. In addition, he is an entrepreneur himself and runs two private businesses.

Liliana Caimacan
Associate Professor of Innovation, Design Thinking, Marketing, and Branding

Alongside her role at Hult as Professor of Innovation and Faculty Leader for the Hult founders Lab (Hult’s in-house start-up incubator), Lilian also works as the Head of Innovation for Tata Consumer Products. She brings over 10 years of experience working with Unilever.
