Our gap year programs are designed with outcomes in mind that make for happy and successful adults. Through your EF Gap Year, you’ll develop better habits, time management skills, and independence by navigating the world on your own.

Your gap year program fee includes everything you need to have a successful gap.
Please note: All destinations and program inclusions are subject to availability and group size. A supplemental cost will apply if a student elects to stay at an EF Residence during the Language Study module. Passport and visa fees are the responsibility of the participant, which can be up to $200 in some locations.
You can pay in full upon enrollment, or you can select a payment plan to pay for your program over a series of months leading up to the program.

EF Gap Year awards up to $50,000 each year in merit-based scholarships and fellowships to qualified students enrolled on a gap program to help offset the cost of the program.

Did you know? If you’re receiving college credit through an EF Gap Year program, most 529 accounts will allow you to put those funds towards your program. For more information, check with your 529 provider or speak with an EF Gap Year Consultant.
