Madrid: Intro to Spanish Culture, History & Politics
Your journey begins in Spain’s capital city, Madrid, where you’ll get a crash course in Spanish history, architecture, art, and cuisine. Get acquainted with your cohort, practice speaking Spanish, and spend time together before starting your classes.

Barcelona: Settling In
Settle in and start your Spanish language immersion experience: enjoy a guided tour of the city to get your bearings, move into the student accommodations, and take a language placement test—then it's time to begin your courses at the EF Barcelona campus.

Valencia & Alicante: Coastal Views & Local Foods
After two weeks of language class, practice your skills over a long weekend traveling in Valencia and Alicante. Take a cooking class in Valencia to learn how to make paella in its home city, then wander the streets of coastal Alicante and appreciate the architecture, history, and stunning views.

Barcelona: Living Like a Local
Return to Barcelona after your weekend away to continue your courses and see how much your Spanish has improved after just three weeks! Celebrate your progress with a graduation ceremony.

Southern Spain: Architecture, Beaches & Farewells
During your last week of the program, practice your newfound Spanish skills as you travel to the southern cities of Seville and Malaga. Wrap up your experience reflecting on all you’ve learned and enjoy a final farewell dinner with your cohort.
