EF Gap Year - Orientation _ Prepare for the adventure

Prepare for the amazing adventure ahead

Your gap experience begins with two
intensive days of orientation hosted at one of EF's largest schools of English in North America. Through an intensive series of moderated group discussion and seminars,
you’ll get all the information insights
you need to make the most out of the
adventure ahead.

Enjoy the vibe of American college campus life

When you’re not attending an orientation workshop, welcome event, or group excursion, experience campus life at this former U.S. college. Work out in the onsite gym, take a swim in the Olympic pool, or go for a run or walk through the parkland on well-marked trails. Your accommodation will be a shared room with a fellow EF gap student in one of the campus’ student residence halls. Most of your meals will be eaten in the campus dining hall.

Meet your cohort of fellow EF Gap students

We make sure there's plenty of time set aside for you to meet the students who will be sharing this experience with you. In addition to ice-breakers and team-building activities, we'll also invite you to special dinners and outings where you can relax, have fun, and get to know each other.
