Build a sustainable future. Travel through Latin America, work with locals on global challenges, and explore the ecosystems and communities they are trying to conserve.

Each individual is carefully examined through a comprehensive application process to ensure they have the right expectations, ability and ambition to succeed in their industry of choice.
1. First screening by a Sales Representative.
2. Interview with a Coordinator.
3. Student gets help from an EF Internship Advisor to prepare them for their Internship.
4. Consultation with student to understand their goals in order to match them with the right internship.
5. Student presented to company/organization.
6. Send an official internship offer to the student. Celebration time!
Students participating in an internship will be doing so as part of our Gap Year and Semester Programs. Across these programs, students will engage in a range of expertly crafted, global experience modules that will better prepare them for a successful internship with your organization:
Guided Exploration
Students experience new cultures from the expert, local perspective of an EF Tour Director—their travel sidekick from arrival to departure.
Service & Sustainability
Students discover what it means to be a force for good in the world and explore ways to make a real, hands on impact alongside communities in Latin America and Asia.
Language & Culture
Students learn to live like a local while taking on an immersive language course in the city of their choice. They may choose to study Spanish, Italian, French, German, Korean, or Japanese.
